Donna's song "My Poor Old Heart" was on the Grammy-winning Alison Krauss & Union Station album, "Lonely Runs Both Ways."  Alison performed the song at the 2005 CMA Awards.

Donna has written over 300 songs, and is about to release her second album on Rounder Records, produced by J.D. Crowe.  Her last album was produced by Tony Rice & featured performances by Alison Krauss, Rhonda Vincent, mary Chapin Carpenter, Sonya Isaacs, and others.  Donna has recorded four albums since 2001, and writes all of her own songs.  She was nominated by the Roots Music Association in 2008 for "Songwriter of the Year," and has received tons of airplay worldwide on radio airwaves, Sirius & XM for the past several years.  Donna was chosen 3 years in a row for the IBMA Songwriting Showcase in Nashville.  Donna has taught songwriting workshops, and judged songwriting contests across the country.
